North Point

The site is the north end of Moses Point, where Satellite Channel opens toward the sunset. Across the water are Salt Spring Island and Mount Tuam. The plan sets the main rooms on that line and opens them to it: a glass wall slides away completely, so living room and terrace read as one floor. The board ceiling runs out through the opening without a break. Bedroom and bath take the same view through full-height glass, filtered by the arbutus and fir left standing.
