Cordova Bluff

Saanich · New Build · 2024

The yard ends at a bank that drops straight to the water. The house sits back from it, long and low under flat roof planes, and turns its main rooms north across Cordova Bay. Oak runs through the interior — cabinetry, casework, headboards — set against quartzite, terrazzo, glazed white brick and a screen of patterned block. The living room takes the corner of the plan, one wall to the fire and the other to the water.
